Smolen Covered Bridge
Celebrate a true Ashtabula County tradition at the annual Covered Bridge Festival—a two-day event honoring our region’s iconic covered bridges. This year, find the ACHS tent for a special appearance of the “Blakeslee Special” Bean Soup, served up fresh at the Smolen-Gulf Bridge, plus explore vendors, crafts, and historic displays across the festival. Don’t miss the dedication ceremony of the Harpersfield Covered Bridge on Sunday—a special moment where we present the honorary “Century Bridge Plaque” alongside the Harpersfield Heritage Society.
